Heavy metal doomsters, BRITON RITES are back!
December 1st, 2020 marked the day of the return of BRITON RITES. The American heavy/doom metal outfit was put to rest in 2014 by its creator, guitarist extraordinaire, Howie Bentley. Now they are back with the first single off the upcoming record: The Masque Of Satan. There is no cover art for the single. BRITON RITES are presenting the fragments of the “Occulte Fantastique” full-length artwork instead.

“It’s close to Witchfinder General, but it’s our way of heavy doom metal,” says Bentley, known also from a cult Cauldron Born and as a fantasy writer.
BRITON RITES 2020 include also Phil Swanson, the vocalist (Seamount, Sumerlands, Vestal Claret, ex-Atlantean Kodex, Hour of 13), and the rhythm section of Corbin King and John Leeson.
“Occulte Fantastique” was released on December 18th, 2020 via Echoes Of Crom Records.
