Texas Metal Outlaws Releasing Self - Titled with Heaven and Hell Records and Texas Underground Records - 26 October 2018

TEXAS MJETAL OUTLAWS The heat, the attitude, the METAL! Texas doesn't do subtly and it sure as hell doesn't do mellow, as evidenced by the forthcoming self-titled album of molten Lone Star metal from TEXAS METAL OUTLAWS. Available on CD (Heaven and Hell Records) and vinyl (Texas Metal Underground Records), each of the album's nine tracks features a unique line-up of players from the deep well of Texas metal talent.

Though barely scratching the surface of the magic on offer, some particularly interesting aspects of the album include:

The appearance of every member of WITCHES MARK on "Malt Liquor Maniac."

Bonus track "Black and Green" features every member of Agony Column, plus guitarist Robert Williams (IGNITOR/WITCHES MARK) and is the first thing AGONY COLUMN has recorded since 1995's Way Back In The Woods album.

The Burt Bacharach/Carole Bayer Sager-penned cover of "That's What Friends are For" features a complete previous lineup of IGNITOR plus Logan Orlando Perez (AGAINST THE PLAGUES, VEX, WHORE OF BABYLON).

The cover song "Running From The Law" from RIOT's Born In America album was recorded as a tribute to Mark Reale and Rhett Forrester and even features Donnie Van Stavern (RIOT) on bass.

Opus I: Subtle Movements From Within
Self-Release

Neo-classical instrumental metal band ALCHEMY CHAMBER are proud to present their debut full-length album. Led by Anna Kuchkova (cello and composition), along with Kevin Arland (saxophone), the music of ALCHEMY CHAMBER is an eclectic mix of genres, featuring captivating melodies intertwined with complex rhythms in a purely instrumental arrangement. The unique sound of the band, that combines heavy riffs and expressive contrapuntal melodic lines, is influenced by classical composers as well as metal bands of various genres.

The songs have numbers instead of names, and the album is referred to as an "Opus" to reflect the classical side and influences of the music. The order truly is chronological, which means the songs on the album appear in the order they were written. Composition No. 1 is dedicated to Doug Gorkoff who has been Anna's cello teacher for the last 10 years and played a significant role in her becoming the musician she is today. This album is meant to take you through the band's creative development and let you experience the continuous thought process the musicians were going through at the time and changes in the flow of ideas as the time passed. Lyricless, but not voiceless, the album is designed to encourage one's own interpretation of the music while also telling a story about it's own birth between the lines.
