AUGURY Signs With THE ARTISAN ERA

AUGURY Montreal-based progressive death metal legends Augury has been hard at work the last few years writing and recording their highly anticipated third full-length. The group's 2004 debut album Concealed and 2009 follow-up Fragmentary Evidence are widely revered death metal releases which were far ahead of their time. Eventually, the group's forward-thinking ways have led to their esteemed status as highly influential legends in the progressive death metal and technical death metal scenes. Today the band is proud to announce their signing to rising extreme metal label The Artisan Era. Which will be followed by the release of their 3rd album in 2018.

Augury had this to say about signing with The Artisan Era:
"We are proud to announce that Augury has teamed with The Artisan Era Records for the release of their third album. While the recording is entering the mixing/mastering process with Chris Donaldson (Cryptopsy) at The Grid Studios, Augury is back with a new creation, lyrically influenced by lost civilizations and their enigmas, musically following the roots from the two predecessors, 2004’s Concealed, and 2009’s Fragmentary Evidence. The album's artwork and title will be disclosed in a further statement, so brace yourselves for its emergence in Spring 2018!"

A video featuring clips of some of the new Augury material is live and can be heard here.

Mathieu Marcotte (Humanoid) - Guitars
