Alazka announce Sept 1st releast of "Phoenix"
Based in Western Germany, ALAZKA started their journey in 2012 as Burning Down Alaska.
After a few personel changes, they released their debut EP Values & Virtues in March 2015 via Redfield Records.
Since then they have played four European tours, including their own headline tour and the Impericon Never Say Die! Tour, as well as several well known festivals across Europe (With Full Force, Summer Breeze, Graspop Metal Meeting, Southside Festival.)
Further, they have played support shows for Bands like Northlane, The Ghost Inside, and Parkway Drive on several occasions.
In January 2016, Kassim Auale joined the band as a second vocalist. He first appeared on the song "Blossom," which was released right before their first European headline tour.
At the end of March 2017, the band announced that it has changed its name to "ALAZKA," as they felt like the time had come to finally choose a name that fits the musical style and personality the band strived for, since their old name was something they had chosen back when the band was founded and most of the current members were not even a part of the band.
Following the name change, ALAZKA have signed to Arising Empire and SharpTone Records.
