INVIDIA are set to return to the road this summer first in support of Wednesday 13 through July.
“The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done.”
-Sylvester Stallone in ROCKY
It may sound trite, but INVIDIA is truly a brotherhood. Each member of this brotherhood has a story that reflects the quote above. When they came together to make As The Sun Sleeps (Steamhammer/Oblivion/SPV), they knew just what they didn’t want and how far they were willing to go to make it work on their terms. INVIDIA features current members of Five Finger Death Punch and Skinlab.
Recently INVIDIA announced the addition of Evan Seidlitz as the newest member of the band, replacing vocalist Travis Johnson. Seidlitz is no stranger to the frontman spotlight, known for his work in VYCES, Thrown Into Exile and Grimace. The band is very excited to be on this new journey with Seidlitz and has no doubts that fans will be pleased with what he has to bring to the table.
Hot on the heels of the release of their debut As The Sun Sleeps, INVIDIA are set to return to the road this summer first in support of Wednesday 13 through July. Then following a quick break the band will devastate the nation again as part of the Metal Alliance Tour alongside Overkill, Crowbar, Havok and Black Fast. A complete list of all dates can be found below.
Bassist Matt Snell cannot wait to get back out on the road with INVIDIA:
"When offered the Wednesday 13 tour we were thrilled... for us it's a total 90 degree turn and a unique challenge as a band. We are all fans of Wednesday 13, and we know we have the goods... its just time to deliver! Get your creepy on!"
He continues:
"The Metal Alliance tour is yet another dream come true for us. Having opened for Overkill myself when I was just a kid in River Grove IL, in 1994, I can only hope to have the Overkill guys sign my tour flyer from that show. But more important for us as a band is the significance of festivals that stray just enough from the mainstream to remind us all that music is art!"
