Former Killswitch Engage Singer & Soilwork Guitarist Team Up On New Project
Former Killswitch Engage singer Howard Jones is collaborating with former Soilwork guitarist Peter Wichers on a new studio project.
Jones, who currently fronts Devil You Know, recently visited Wichers's studio in North Carolina to begin recording ideas for the project's forthcoming full-length debut.
Jones was fired from Killswitch Engage in January 2012 due to ongoing struggles with personal issues, including an untreated diabetic condition. He has since been replaced by Jesse Leach.
Withers left Soilwork for the second time in June 2012, citing "creative differences" with the band, but the Soilwork lead singer, Björn "Speed" Strid, later said that Peter simply "could not deal with the touring lifestyle anymore."
