Metallica's Latest Album Reaches No. 2 Spot on Billboard Charts
Metallica’s latest album, “Hardwired...To Self Destruct,” has reached the number 2 spot on The Billboard 200 chart this week, having sold more than 80,000 units.
The album was expected to debut at number 1, but fell short in sales in comparison to the band’s former releases, “Death Magnetic” and “St. Anger.”
Metallica plans to tour in support of the latest effort on May 10th, hitting 25 cities in the states, with support from Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat; Gojira will join the tour for the last six shows on the trek.
