Check out a Great Tribute to the Late Freddie Mercury
Queen’s Freddie Mercury’s voice stands as one of the greatest in all of Rock and Roll history, and to pay tribute to the late great vocalist, you’ve got to come prepared.
That’s why when Metal Allegiance prepared its homage to Mercury at the “Tribute to Fallen Heroes” show, Fozzy vocalist Chris Jericho made sure he was up to the task.
“This next guy is one of my true heroes. You can tell by this jacket that I’m wearing,” said Jericho in an interview with Loudwire. “If we’re doing a Queen song, and we’re going to honor Freddie Mercury, then I’m wearing a silver and gold jacket filled with studs, and that’s just the way it is.”
Jericho was joined by Testament’s Chuck Billy and The Winery Dogs bassist Billy Sheehan, with Mark Portnoy on drums. The troupe then launched in “Dragon Attack,” for a show-stopping, medley performance, which included music from “Stone Cold Crazy”
