Morbid Angel Announce New Line-Up
Morbid Angel went through a huge line-up change back in 2015: David Vincent, Tim Yeung, Destructhor all left the band, leaving only founder and guitarist Trey Azagthoth, and bassist Steve Tucker among the ranks.
Last year, in 2016, the iconic Death Metal announced they would soon complete their line-up and return this year, in 2017, with new material.
Well, the wait is over: Azagthoth recently announced on his Facebook page, that drummer Scott Fuller of Annihilated would be taking over the drumming duties for the band, rounding out and completing the new Morbid Angel lineup.
Azagthoth recently announced on his Facebook page that all of the drum tracks have been recorded for a forthcoming new full-length album, adding the band “will soon start on the guitars, vocals and bass” and that “it has been awesome working with Erik Rutan and Mana Studios.”
There’s still no word if Morbid Angel will bring in a second guitarist, but be on the lookout for the new material from the band later this year.
