Tool to Play first NYC Show in Over Ten Years


Tool at Governors Ball Tool will play their first New York City show in over ten years at the annual Governors Ball Music Festival.

The enigmatic musical phenoms haven’t played in NYC in over a decade, so it’s a sure bet faithful fans will make it out in droves to the Randall’s Island Park where a diverse musical line-up awaits at the fst.

Only a handful of Rock and Metal bands will play the festival, including Cage the Elephant and Royal Blood. The rest of the line-up will include Hip Hop acts, Pop, Dance, and Indie Rock, with acts ranging from Wu Tang Clan to Phoenix.

The famed Governors Ball will be held on June 2nd with two full days of music. It’s not yet been announced on which day Tool will perform, so keep checking back to The Gauntlet for further details.
