Sail: "Slumbersong" Mar 10, 2017
Hibernacula Records is pleased to announce that they will release Slumbersong by doom/sludge metal band SAIL on March 10 2017. The album's trippy, yet heavy 9 tracks are highly recommended for fans of bands such as Torche, Pallbearer and Black Moth. While the band previously released music under their former name HUSK, this is their first recorded music under the moniker SAIL.
The band have released a video for "The Weight of Gold" which was directed by Simon Regan of Red Dog Productions and is viewable at the Sludgelord

About SAIL:
Sail's version of sludge metal is melodic and atmospheric with a focus on vocals and guitar hooks in the vein of Baroness, Mastodon and Red Fang. Their approach is both aggressive and dreamy with hints of post-rock and prog metal.
Previously known as Husk, the band released an album and a split before re-branding in October 2016 to better reflect a cleaner direction. As Husk they played alongside established UK names such as
Hark, WarCrab and Conjurer. Their debut release as Sail, Slumbersong, is out on Hibernacula
Records on 10/03/17.
Sail is:
Tom Coles - Drums
Charlie Dowzell - Guitars/Vocals
Tim Kazer - Guitars/Vocals
Kynan Scott - Bass Guitars
