Carcass Kicks Off U.S. Tour in Texas

Carcass kicked off their tour of the States last week on November 6th. The month-long trek sees the band hitting cities from McDate, Texas to Madison, WI, with Deafheaven and Inter Arma supporting.

Carcass continues to tour in support of their September 2013, Surgical Steel full-length, which peaked at #41 on the U.S. Billboard Charts.

Surgical Steel is the six-full length album for the British Metal icons, with Heartwork and Necroticism among their most notable and influential recordings.

Formed in Liverpool, England in 1985, Carcass is heralded for their inventive take on musical extremes: from Goregrind to Melodic Death Metal, Carcass is widely recognized for their snarling musical charm and innovative, crushing tunes.

After disbanding in 1996, the band reformed in 2007 with new a line up, which included original members bassist/vocalist Jeff Walker and guitarist Bill Steer.
