As one of the biggest names in both rock and metal music, KORN's accolades are unparalleled. With 40+ million in career spanning album sales, two Grammy Awards, almost 15 million social media followers between Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and over 22 years of non-stop touring sold-out arenas and headlining festivals, the band that forged a distinctive blend of rock and metal, which continues to be celebrated by fans two decades later, mark the October 21 release of their 12th studio album THE SERENITY OF SUFFERING (Roadrunner Records) by entering at #4 on the Billboard 200, #1 on both the Top Rock Albums and Hard Rock Albums charts, and #3 on the Current Albums chart.

According to Billboard, "Korn's top 10 count on the Billboard 200 is now equal to Led Zeppelin. The only rock bands with more top 10s are The Rolling Stones (with 36), The Beatles (32), Dave Matthews Band (15), Santana (14) and Van Halen (14)."

Produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Deftones, Mastodon), THE SERENITY OF SUFFERINGwas heralded byThe Observer(10/21/16)as "...the band's most intense release in a decade." It'shighlighted by a return to a dual-guitar dynamic and some of front man Jonathan Davis' most inspired moments of self-reflection and expression. It findsKORN-who is also James "Munky" Shaffer (guitar), Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu (bass), Brian "Head" Welch (guitar) and Ray Luzier (drums)--harnessing all the anger, power and trademark balance of darkness and light that made their name all those years ago with such tracks as "Rotting In Vain," "Take Me," "Insane" and "A Different World" featuring Corey Taylor.

About KORN:
Since forming in 1993, the iconic hard rock band KORN have sold nearly 40 million albums, toured the world dozens of times, and set records in the process that will likely never be surpassed. Originally from Bakersfield, CA, vocalist Jonathan Davis, guitarists James "Munky" Shaffer and Brian "Head" Welch, and Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu on bass ushered in the new wave of metal music in the '90s with their self-titled debut in 1994 and 1996's Life is Peachy, but have ridden that wave to even greater success and higher artistic water marks. The band have battled personal demons and addictions but have found their way through to the other side. And now, highlighted by the force of drummer Ray Luzier, a return to a dual-guitar dynamic and some of Davis's most inspired moments of self-reflection and expression, the new album The Serenity of Suffering finds KORN harnessing all the anger, power, and trademark balance of darkness and light that made their name all those years ago.
