Lustrum - Alchoholic Rites Split -- Nov 25
The aptly titled Drunk and in Charge 7" features Ecuadorian beelzebub-boozehounds ALCOHOLIC RITES binge-drinking with the relentless LUSTRUM. Brace thy blackened souls... and livers.
Lustrum are a project with members of One Master and Morgirion. A take-no-prisoners band, they unabashedly wear their influences on their sleeve and create fist-pumping first-wave BM. Although they had a demo in 2011, this split EP is their first widely distributed release. Simultaneous with this 7”, the band is also releasing a split EP with the Ecuadoran filthy BM band Alcoholic Rites.
South American (Ecuador) BM powerhouse Alcoholic Rites combine forces with the upstart US band Lustrum to release a new split 7” Drunk and in Charge. Liquor fueled sleaze 'n roll defines this grimy and fist-pumping EP.
Alcoholic Rites have been playing their brand of blackened thrash since 2002. Crushing the posers of Quito for nearly fifteen years, these Ecuadoran atavists have built a name for themselves with a series of head-banging releases, including a full length and EP on the mighty Iron Bonehead records. The two songs on this 7” set the stage for their upcoming full-length Alcohomancy.
