WATCHTOWER REVEAL TEASER OF NEW SiNGLE
Legendary progressive metallists WATCHTOWER will be releasing their first new EP in over twenty years on October 7 via PROSTHETIC RECORDS worldwide on CD and LP. Formed in 1982 in Austin, Texas, WATCHTOWER has been hailed as the first jazz inspired progressive metal band and have previously released two critically acclaimed full length albums, 1985's “Energetic Disassembly” followed by 1989’s classic “Control and Resistance” - which is often hailed as the benchmark for progressive metal and has influenced a countless number of heavy, technical bands in todays current scene.
The new album, "Concepts of Math: Book One", will feature the classic lineup from "Control and Resistance" of Alan Tecchio (Vocals), Ron Jarzombek (guitars), Doug Keyser (bass) and Rick Colaluca (drums). Consisting of four digital-only released singles, the band will unveil a brand new lengthy nine minute track titled "Mathmetica Calculis".
