RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE's Tim Commerford announces intimate London charity gig
Fancy the chance to rock out at a super exclusive London gig with one of the hottest new bands around AND help a great cause at the same time? Of course you do!
Tim Commerford's new politically-charged punk rock trio Wakrat (pronounced wôk•rat) will be making their live UK debut on Tuesday, 26th July in a special, one-night-only appearance at The Black Heart in Camden, with all proceeds from the gig going towards the homeless charity Shelter, and you could be there!
Notorious for his infamous bass lines in Rage Against The Machine, Commerford fronts Wakrat on vocals and bass over a tight mix of punchy, rhythmic and dynamic punk rock, fuelled by political dissent, social commentary and an undiminished subversion and questioning of authority. With today's volatile political climate, what better time is there to stand up and be heard whilst simultaneously helping those less fortunate?
Commerford said: "We are gearing up to be on the offensive. Our mission is to attack modern music and smash the grid. Unapologetic, unrelenting, unbridled and uncensored. Understood?"
Tickets for this unmissable show cost only £10 (with all proceeds going to Shelter) and go on sale TOMORROW - Tuesday, 12th July - at 10:00am from https://dice.fm/event/wakrat-26th-jul-the-black-heart-london-tickets
