Society 1 Signs With Black Radar Management
Many questioned what happened to Earache Records recording artists Society 1 after the legendary Download Festival suspension performance in 2005 and as with everything regarding Society 1 the answer has many layers each of varying depth. It is probably better that the common person in passing creates their own version of the events leading to the bands withdrawal from the public eye for so many years. The additional rumors will only add to the mystique when the history of the band is written but that is for another time.
Now the band is more concerned with the present because the current state of Society 1 has never been so compelling. With possibly the strongest line up to date and the return of Sin Quirin, a two-time Grammy nominated guitar player who has spent the last nine years in the iconic band Ministry as a primary guitarist and writer the response has been overwhelming. Immediately the band has hit the stage to bring their extreme energy back to the people. Rather than rely solely upon their catalog the band have created new music which is arguably their best to date. Society 1 has re-emerged or perhaps reborn into something beyond any previous forms.
This is a band who has seen it all before and now moves forward with a hunger riding within the seat of experience. Still as dangerous but with focus and intensity matched only by wisdom. The past is great for
telling stories when it's all done, the future is a pleasant dream but now is the time for action. Society 1 is here, existing, generating the type of action as only they can.
