Belphegor Reveal New Album Details
Three years have passed since BELPHEGOR released their Blood Magick Necromance album. The band had been forced to take a break as frontman Helmuth recovered from a severe illness. Belphegor are back and stronger than ever, and have finally unveiled the title and release date of their new creation.
Belphegor rises again with Conjuring The Dead. The tenth album from one of the metal world's most bizarre and authentic bands is set to be released on August 8th (Europe) and August 11th (UK/France) via Nuclear Blast.
Helmuth discusses the new album: "The tenth full-length entitled Conjuring The Dead is tracked. For over two years we worked on the nine compositions. We got every arrangement to the highest audio potential, added a lot of new, haunting, and compelling structures/ rhythm parts and tritone intervals. We decided to record in the USA this time. The combination of European metal's cold and sick elements crossed with an American brutal sound was the master plan. We're on fire! Expect more shredding, more magick, more of everything."
Conjuring The Dead was recorded under the guidance of Erik Rutan (CANNIBAL CORPSE, HATE ETERNAL, etc.) at Mana Studios, Florida. More details to follow.
