Between the Buried and Me preparing to film new DVD following upcoming tour
Between the Buried and Me (BTBAM) have announced that they will be filming a brand new DVD in March! The concept behind this project is in contrast with the band's ambitious and impressive live stage productions - this will feature the band in a small studio, an intimate setting in which they will perform "The Future Sequence" in its entirety. Joining the band for this performance will be a small group of auxiliary musicians, including percussionists, saxophone, flute, string quartet. BTBAM will record at the Fidelitorium outside Winston-Salem, NC after the conclusion of their upcoming North American tour. Director Justin Reich will be behind the cameras for this project, and longtime BTBAM producer, Jamie King, will mix and master the audio. The release date is tentatively scheduled for the Fall.
Between the Buried and Me front man Tommy Rogers adds: "We are very happy to announce that we are finally doing a DVD for The Future Sequence. In this age we live in you can watch us play any of our songs live online. So we wanted to give our fans something a little different… an intimate live performance of us playing in a studio. It will be a wonderful experience and I hope you all enjoy it as much as we enjoy playing these songs."
The band's headlining tour of North America begins next week. Joining BTBAM on this trek will be Deafheaven, Intronaut, and The Kindred.
