Eyal Levi To Be Joined By Sean Reinert For Drum Production Course

Eyal Levi, critically acclaimed guitarist, composer, producer and engineer at the famous Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Fla., is pleased to announce that legendary drummer Sean Reinert of Cynic, Death and the Eyal Levi/Emil Werstler collaboration Avalanche of Worms will join him for his upcoming creativeLIVE "Advanced Drum Production" course set for January 16 - January 18, 2014. Drawing on his 20-plus years behind the kit, Reinert will share his secrets for choosing the right drums, setting up and tuning them and how to get killer tones.

"I'm really excited to be part of Eyal's 'Advanced Drum Production' class," he said. "I've worked with him before on the Levi/Werstler album, and he's one of the best in the business when it comes to getting great, modern drum sounds. I can't think of anyone better to teach this class."

In this online class, free to watch live, Eyal Levi will demonstrate the real-world production techniques he uses every day at Audiohammer Studios - on albums for bands like The Black Dahlia Murder, August Burns Red, Chelsea Grin, and Whitechapel. The event will cover everything from micing drums, to using Toontrack Superior Drummer to editing and mixing. Levi and Reinert will answer questions from viewers live, on-air in real-time, giving unprecedented access to two of the very best minds in metal.
