Septicflesh Begin Recording New Album
The Greek symphonic death metal act SEPTICFLESH has entered Devasoundz Studios in Athens to record the 10 songs that will appear on their new, as-yet-untitled full-length album, the follow-up to their critically acclaimed 2011 release "The Great Mass." This time around, the band will record with producer and former Machine Head guitarist Logan Mader (Cavalera Conspiracy, Fear Factory, Gojira) while once again collaborating with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition, the group will also utilize full regular and children's choirs on the new album, which will surely further enhance the epic nature of their music. Stay tuned to the band's website for more information in the coming weeks: http://www.septicflesh.com/
SEPTICFLESH has earned extensive international acclaim for their eight albums to date, as well as their performances on tour alongside the likes of Cradle of Filth, Amon Amarth, Gorgoroth, Satyricon and Children of Bodom. The group, who recently headlined the "Conquerers of the World" North American tour, will take part in next year's 70000 Tons of Metal Cruise. The band's new album is scheduled to be released in North America via Prosthetic Records in early 2014.
