Killswitch Engage To Perform At CBGB Festival

Killswitch Engage have announced that they will perform at the second annual CBGB Festival in New York City this Saturday, October 12.

KsE will be honoring the CBGBs spirit with a special, intimate show at Santos Party House, making it one that New York area fans and festivalgoers won't want to miss. "I am excited to be a part of the CBGB fest," declares Jesse Leach, frontman of KsE. "The music that came out of the early punk and hardcore scene changed my life and CBGBs was a big part of that scene. Playing a smaller intimate venue like Santos Party House gives us a chance to change stuff up and give fans a different KsE show with a diversified set list. Saturday will be a night to remember!"

Additionally, proceeds from the show will be donated to The FC Foundation, an organization whose mission is to fight cancer by raising awareness and to educate about early cancer detection, ultimately putting an end to late-stage cancer diagnoses.

For this particular show, KsE will be joined by very special guests Eye Ra Haze.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Tuesday, October 8, at 10AM ET. They will be available here, for the price of $25. A limited number of CBGBs Fest badge-holders will be admitted to the show.

Doors are scheduled to open at 6PM.

The show is being presented by The Merciless Book of Metal Lists along with CBGB Festival. Written by NYC scene veterans Howie Abrams and Sacha Jenkins, and released earlier this year, TMBML is one of the genre's top books of 2013, and has received rave reviews from metal fans worldwide.

NYC and tri-state area Killswitch Engage fans will also be able to catch the band on their upcoming tour with Lamb of God, Testament and Huntress, which launches later this month. As part of this tour, KsE will play Roseland Ballroom in NYC on October 25 and the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey on November 22.

KsE encourage fans attending this intimate show to bring proof of your purchased Roseland Ballroom ticket or Starland Ballroom ticket to the merch area to claim a special KsE autographed item.

Santos Party House is located at 96 Lafayette Street and is easily accessible by subway.
