Exodus Announces Hometown Gig
Veteran Bay Area thrashers EXODUS have just announced a one-night-only hometown date and their only appearance since March 2013. On Friday, December 20th, the thrash giants will be taking the stage at Slim’s in San Francisco, California, with a surprise special guest to be announced in the near future.
Exodus is widely hailed as THE band that created the thrash metal scene in the San Francisco Bay Area - the scene that produced heavy metal giants TESTAMENT, SLAYER, and METALLICA (whose lead guitarist, Kirk Hammett, was an early Exodus member). With a career spanning over 30 years, Exodus and guitarist/songwriter Gary Holt have sold over five million albums worldwide, cementing their reputation as one of the most influential and successful thrash metal bands in history.
Exodus features Gary Holt (guitar), Rob Dukes (vocals), Lee Altus (guitar), Jack Gibson (bass) and Tom Hunting (drums).
