Carcass Frontman Jeff Walker Calls Out Bands That Have Plagiarized Carcass' Sound

Carcass (2013) The Gauntlet caught up with Carcass frontman Jeff Walker recently to discuss the bands new album, "Surgical Steel." While discussing the album, the lyrics for the track "Noncompliance to ASTM F-899 12 Standard" came up and if the track was a diss on certain death metal bands that have ripped off the Carcass sound.

"It is very tongue and cheek and very hip-hop bragging" stated Walker. "There are certain things that irk me about certain bands that plagiarized what we did and ran off with it and pretend they invented the sounds. There is nothing original about Carcass. We will always pay tribute and give credit were credit is due."

You can listen to the rest of what Walker had to say below and pick up the album tomorrow when it gets released on Nuclear Blast Records.
