Jill Janus From Huntress, The Topless DJ NSFW

Most people know that Jill Janus of Huntress was a DJ in her former, pre-metal life. She used the moniker of DJ Tuesdae or DJ Penelope Tuesdae and was actually pretty good on the club circuit winning DJ awards from local New York magazines. Janus later went on to spin rock and metal tunes and even DJ'd for the Playboy Mansion.

In her club days, Janus had a gimmick to set herself ahead of the pack of other sexy club DJ's, she would perform topless.

Jill Janus stated to rockexplosion.com "I was living in New York City and needed cash. So I learned how to DJ, but added a gimmick to make more money. I did it topless. A few years later, I have Playboy to thank for legitimizing topless DJ'ing as a lucrative business, although I quit when Vexy Strut was formed. That was my goal all along - to get your attention as a singer and songwriter. So what - I showed you my boobs. Mission accomplished!"

Playboy did a spread on club DJ's in April 2004 and DJ Tuesdae (Jill Janus) was featured fully nude. In the article, Jill stated "Most likely I'll die young and go to hell and party with metal bands for eternity."

DJ Tuesdae also spun some hits, topless of course, with Snoop Dogg when she came out to Los Angeles for a 2011 New Years Eve show. Photos shot by Genie Sanchez.
