Gama Bomb Drop Off U.S. Tour
Irish thrashers GAMA BOMB has announced it will not be undertaking its' planned tour of North America from August to September. The band has been forced to withdraw from the tour with Danish thrash veterans ARTILLERY and BONDED BY BLOOD and FUELLED BY FIRE due to delays in securing visas.
"We're really gutted to have to make this call, but we’ve found ourselves caught in a massive web of red tape and time’s run out to make the tour possible in the way we want it to be," said singer Philly Byrne. "We've been faced with barriers and delays all for months now, and we held off on making this call, but ultimately we're dealing with big organs of state where there’s no one person you can ring up and make it happen. Even worse than all the behind-the-scenes crap that's gone on, letting our fans down is the hardest thing to stomach. If you bought a ticket for one of these cancelled shows, we're coming back soon to make it up to you. We're already working on making it happen."
Bassist Joe McGuigan comments: "We've done our best to make this tour happen but unfortunately this whole process is out of our hands. We want to apologize to our friends in Artillery, our brothers in Bonded By Blood, and most of all to all the US thrashers out there."
