Miss May I To Begin Recording 4th Studio Album on August 14 with Producer Terry Date

Troy, OH metal act Miss May I will head into the studio on August 14th with Terry Date (Pantera, White Zombie, Deftones) to begin work on their fourth studio album, the follow up to 2012's At Heart, which hit #32 on the Billboard Top 200 in its first week. The album will be mixed by Colin Richardson (Machine Head, As I Lay Dying) and is currently slated for a spring 2014 release on Rise Records.

Bassist Ryan Neff, says, "Miss May I has been a wild ride for all of us since the beginning. From starting out in a basement in a small Ohio town, listening to our favorite bands, and just trying to play shows, all the way up to now, about to record our fourth full length album. As a long time fan, I am ecstatic to announce that we will be working with Terry Date on our next record. Growing up jamming Deftones, White Zombie, and Pantera, it's a dream come true to be working with the man who helped capture some of their greatest work. As if that wasn't amazing enough, we have Colin Richardson in to mix the record who is also a legend in the metal world. So you can all expect some heavy riffage coming your way next year!"

Miss May I will follow up their recently wrapped stint as direct support on Killswitch Engage’s North American with another direct support slot on Five Finger Death Punch’s The Wrong Side of Heaven Tour, which starts September 17 in Medford, OR and runs through October 27.
