Metal Fans Demand A Public Apology Following Hellfest News Report
Metalheads have posted a petition to demand a public apology from French TV channel M6. The TV station aired a report on Hellfest concert-goers that defamed metalheads.
"The French TV channel M6 has shocked the entire metal community by airing a defamatory and misrepresentative report on Hellfest (the largest metal music festival in France) on its television show "Zone Interdite". The channel used cruel and defamatory language referring to the participants of this global event such as:
"Drug addicts, alcoholics, disrespectful, theives, dirty, satanists". These were only a FEW of the words used by reporters. Is this language of professional journalists? No.
"This report has done nothing other than slander and defame the festival and its thousands/ hundreds of thousands of participants. We demand a public apology!"
