Eric Ellis (Former Bury Your Dead Guitarist) To Release Album From Prison
Ex-Bury Your Dead guitarist Eric Ellis is to release his first full length album from federal prison.
Despite having been sentenced on racketeering charges, Ellis is planning public release of an entirely instrumental composition- riddled with complex odd time signatures and unconventional polyrhythms.
"This project began to take shape in my time off between Bury Your Dead tours. It went through many different forms as it evolved over the years... You (will) have the choice collection from that expanse... (for) those who can appreciate the precision and beauty of technical music, Gevicht is my legacy."
Ellis began his appeal process in June. Album release date is set for this fall.
