Cancer Bats Announce Tour With Bat Sabbath
After a number of sold-out appearances and plenty of fan and critical support, two time JUNO-award nominees Cancer Bats have just announced that they will once again be taking their alter ego Bat Sabbath on the road. As a special treat for fans, this time around, the band will perform two full sets every night, one as Cancer Bats and one as Bat Sabbath. Coined the Double Header Bat Madness Tour, the tour includes five dates in the U.S and thirteen dates across Canada.
Having toured extensively across the globe, playing over 270 shows in support of their critically acclaimed third album Dead Set on Living, the Double Header Bat Madness Tour is the perfect way to end off the year. "We are all way too stoked for this Canadian run!" says lead vocalist Liam Cormier. "All of the touring we've done on this record has been amazing and we can't think of a better way to finish it all off then with one last Canadian banger! AND to make it the ultimate rager, we're adding a full Bat Sabbath set to keep the party going all night. I can't think of a better way to end off a record and to get stoked on writing a new album!"
The Canadian portion of the tour kicks off September 30th in Victoria, BC at Club9ONE9 and wraps up on October 19th in Ottawa, ON at Mavericks. Tickets for the tour will go on sale on Thursday July 11. Full tour details are below. For more information visit http://www.cancerbats.com.
