MOTÖRHEAD's LEMMY: 'We Will Be Back' To 'Kick Everybody's Ass'
MOTÖRHEAD frontman Lemmy Kilmister says that it was a "tough decision" to cancel the remaining eight shows on the band's European festival tour, but assures fans that he will be be back to "kick everybody's ass."
In an official statement, MOTÖRHEAD said: "MOTÖRHEAD deeply regret to disappoint all fans this summer. The band decided to cancel the summer shows. Doctors strongly advised that Lemmy needs to take his time to get his body back in balance. To achieve this, the doctor and Lemmy agreed that it would be best to take it easy for a while. While saying this, we can assure that the fall tour will be as explosive, loud and incredible as ever."
Added Lemmy: "I'd like to thank everyone who wish me well. It was a tough decision for me as I don't like to disappoint the fans, especially in times where economy is bad and people spent their money to see us. But sometimes you can't do anything else than following doctor's order, but be sure we will be back and kick everybody's ass."
Lemmy suffered a haematoma last month forcing the band to drop of several festival dates.
