Leatherwolf To Be Joined By Paul Carman On Bass
Huntington Beach, CA-based heavy metal act LEATHERWOLF have announced that they will be joined by bassist Paul Carman on their upcoming run of June dates, which gets under way June 13th at Bobby McGee's in Chicago Ridge, Illinois.
"We're grateful that our old friend Paul has agreed to step in for our regular bass player, Pat Guyton, who is not able to do these shows with us. We haven't played with Paul since our last European tour so we're looking forward to rekindling the old magic, kicking out the jams together and having a great time on the road."
Paul Carman originally joined Leatherwolf in 1986 and appeared on the band’s two major label studio releases, Leatherwolf (1987) and Street Ready (1989), which spawned the MTV video classics 'The Calling' and 'Hideaway', as well as perennial fan favorites such as 'Thunder', 'Gypsies & Thieves' and 'Rise Or Fall'.
Carman joins a rejuvenated lineup consisting of original members, vocalist/guitarist Michael Olivieri and drummer Dean Roberts, and the explosive guitar duo of Rob Math and Greg Erba.
Leatherwolf are set release a new live album, entitled Unchained, later this year. It was mixed by producer extraordinaire, Roy Z, whose resume includes JUDAS PRIEST, SEPULTURA, HALFORD, BRUCE DICKINSON, HELLOWEEN and many others.
The band also recently launched a new official web site at LeatherwolfMetal.com where their classic releases are available for purchase as MP3 (320Kbp) downloads. Fans can watch videos, stay informed with the latest news, find tour dates and sign up for the Leatherwolf newsletter.
