NADER SADEK 'Mayhem' Art Exhibit Opens Today

Famed artist and visual effects director and driving force behind the all-star death metal project that bears his name, NADER SADEK is being featured as part of a group exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia.

The exhibit, which runs from February 6th until July 28th, 2013, will feature masks worn by Attila Cshiar during his performances with Sunn O))) and Mayhem. The masks where designed and fabricated by Nader Sadek in his NYC studio in 2007. Mayhem then commissioned Sadek to make their stage set for their US shows in 2009, for which he sculpted a flesh and bone style version of the band's original logo. The work is being exhibited among other works, including works by Genesis P-orridge of Throbbing Gristle among others.
