Bad News For Punk Rock Picnic Ticket Holders

Gwar Punk Rock Picnic ticket holders were dealt a blow earlier today when they woke up to the news that both Danzig and Gwar have pulled out of this years event. Gwar has issued the following update on the matter "It is true, GWAR has bailed on the Punk Rock Picnic, as has Danzig. It reportedly had something to do with those strange little scraps of paper you humans seem to covet. But fear not California GWARriors, we shall make up the gig else where...even though the band is reportedly very bummed that they are going to be unable to sink the Queen Mary. In the meantime work continues on the boys new album, with Jizmak pounding away on drum tracks all week. Look for the first official press release on the production of GWAR's 13th studio album, including names of songs and possibly even some working titles, early next week! HAIL GWAR!"

The festivals official site claims they will be announcing a headliner soon, but the festival date in April is quickly approaching.
