Johnny Depp Performs With Marilyn Manson; Plays Guitar On Upcoming Manson Album

To close out the Golden Gods Awards last night, Marilyn Manson took the stage. Manson started performing hit "Sweet Dreams" when Depp came out in a cowboy hat rather incognito, but frontman Manson gave away his special guest. "If you don't recognize my personal friend, my personal savior, my personal guitar hero, Johnny Depp!" he told the crowd. Depp also played "The Beautiful People."

Johnny Depp will also be playing guitar on one of the tracks on Marilyn Manson's upcoming album, "Born Villian."

Johnny Depp is no stranger to playing rock guitarist. He has recorded guitars for both Oasis and Red Hot Chilli Peppers and was even in a band called 'P' with Ministry's Al Jourgensen. P was performing at the Viper Room the night River Phoenix overdosed and died.
