Metal Legends Jeff Becerra and Gene Hoglan Featured In New Book
Metal legends Jeff Becerra (Possessed) and Gene Hoglan (Death, Dethklok, Testament, Dark Angel) will be featured in a new book and film by Shane and Amy Bugbee. The documentary "The Suffering and Celebration of Life in America" will be released on November 1 in limited edition and in Jan, 2013 in regular edition.
The book also features Mike IX Williams (Eyehategod), Averse Sefira, Martin Atkins, Joel Peter Witkin and everything from Christian ministers to Satanic strippers, from angry artists to conservative cattle ranchers, and all points in between.
This is the gritty reality of years on the road, with no money and little help. A couple with their dog and turtle take to road searching for a place to call home and a glimmer of hope.
After being shunned and run out of town, these underground journalists decided they had nothing left to lose. Dealing with odds and soul crushing experiences that would cripple even the strongest, Shane and Amy Bugbee decided if this was it, they were going out fighting.
Told with grit and candor, this is the story of their pilgrimage, of the insane circumstances that led to their journey and the journey itself.
A story told by all that participated, and one that against all odds ended with a renewed sense of hope for the future, not due to any politician or belief system, but to the resilience of the human being.
The limited edition can be purchased here.
