RAMMSTEIN Confirmed For Download and Wacken

RAMMSTEIN has been confirmed for the 2013 installments of Download and Wacken Open Air festivals.

Download will be held on June 14-16, 2013 at Donington Park United Kingdom while Wacken Open Air will take place August 1-3, 2013 in Wacken, Germany.

Commented the band: "'Wir halten das Tempo' will also be RAMMSTEIN's motto for 2013, with the band headlining a number of big European festivals.

"Over the past two years alone, over 1.3 million people from Mexico, the USA, South Africa, Australia, Canada and Europe have been blown away by the band's spectacular live show. The RAMMSTEIN machine keeps rolling on and on, and 2013 will be no different: it promises to be one hot summer."

Rammstein's commitment to Wacken Open Air should once and for all put and end to the rumors that the band will be headlining the 2013 Mayhem Fest. Due to the Mayhem Fest routing and dates, the band would be unable to tour with Mayhem Fest.
