Michigan Band Blamed For Contortionist and Loomis Show Cancellations?

The internet is in an uproar over the cancellations of Flint, MI natives King right now. Last night at the Blackened Moon Concert Hall, King and Contortionist were set to play. What we do know is the pit was intense with many people left bloody. Following King's set, the show was abruptly canceled leaving fans high and dry. The Contortionist and Jeff Loomis split.

There are claims on other websites from people that may have over heard stuff, but until the facts present themselves, there is really no reason to repeat them.

As of printing, Jeff Loomis and The Contortionist haven't commented directly on the situation and why they left. The promoter stated "I will not sit and point fingers and blame anyone for their actions but I will say that I witnessed the whole thing for my own two eyes, two feet from it all. KING 810 was not at fault. Period. If anyone would like to comment and trash talk me, feel free."

King also commented stating "We apologize to everyone that didn't get to see the acts after us. However the problems that any well to do security staff could have easily defused were minor ie. no serious injuries etc. and we're confused why the whole show was stopped because of one incident."

The Blackened Moon Concert Hall told us they shut the show down to "prevent further injuries of the guests." Apparently someone was allowed into the venue with a sign wrapped in barbed wire.

Jonathan Carpenter from The Contortionist stated on his facebook wall "Yeah so a gang/band that is known for starting fights and shutting down shows...played our show today. and it was....canceled cause they started a fire and were attacking people with a barbed wire ladder."

How these fans were allowed into the venue with all this is beyond me. Where was security?

This story is still breaking, so expect updates throughout the day as we get them.
