Ill Nino Drummer To Miss Shows
ILL NINO has just stated that the band's drummer Dave Chavarri will be missing four live shows in Europe this week.
The band stated: "Setting up for sound check at the LKA in Stuttgart, Germany. So far so good except we are missing our drummer. Unfortunately, Dave had a family emergency & will not be able to make this European week long festival run.
"We miss the big guy already & are praying that all will be OK. Big thank you to Matt Alston who is sitting in during this run. Matt is in an awesome band called Sanctorum & is also Dave's tech. Dude sounds bad ass so, go check out his band Sanctorum from the UK!"
Dave also added, "As Christian stated I'm very sad that I will not attend the upcoming 4 Ill Nino euro shows. These are the only 4 shows I have ever missed, since the beginning of Ill Nino. This is all very unexpected but I need to be there for my family, and hope everyone understands... Our dear friend Matt (from Sanctorum) will be filling in for these shows, he was my first choice and I know he will kick ass! Matt has been my drum tech for close to 4 years, so who better then him to fill in.....Thanks Matt, thanks to my bros in ill nino, and thanks to all ill nino fans for understanding...See you all soon."
