DEAD EARTH POLITICS Announce Two New Guitarists

It is with heavy hearts that Dead Earth Politics announce the departure of our colleague, fellow artist and brother, Ernie Clark. Citing separate personal endeavors Clark must make his leave. The split is completely amicable and the remaining members of D.E.P. wish him nothing but the best and intend to keep plowing through the masses. We invite any able bodied man, woman and child to our upcoming show on June 16 at the Dirty Dog Bar in Austin, Texas. This is to be Ernie’s farewell show and likely your last chance to caress his righteous skullet!

Additionally, Dead Earth Politics wishes to very proudly announce not one, but two new guitarists into our devious fold; Craig Rundels and Tim Driscoll! Rundels has been sharpening the axe for twenty-eight years having had private instruction under Paul Gilbert (Racer X, Mr. Big) and collaborated with George Lynch (Lynch Mob) and Bob Kulick (W.A.S.P., Meatloaf). Driscoll is a graduate from the Berklee College of Music and has been wielding his blade for seventeen years. He immigrated to Austin from Boston, Massachusetts where he was ingrained in the metal scene there – notably with the bands Forgo Famine and Pulse.

This new line up infuses Dead Earth Politics with a completely new outlook on its musical direction, and with this new arsenal we are poised to deliver a new payload to the Austin metal scene and beyond.

We wish our brother-in-arms, Ernie, the very best, but our eyes remain on the prize and our cross hairs hold steady. 2012 is a year of changes for Dead Earth Politics and we aim to wield those changes to our greatest advantage.
