RED FANG Added to Metallica's Orion Music Festival
Portland, Oregon's RED FANG have confirmed that they will be appearing at the inaugural "Orion Music + More Festival" curated by Metallica. The festival will be held in Atlantic City, New Jersey at Bader Field on June 23rd and June 24th. RED FANG will be playing on Saturday June 23rd.
Bassist Aaron Beam spoke about being added to the festival:
"I was surprised but of course utterly THRILLED to be asked to play the "Orion Music + More Festival". Metallica is one of the first and biggest musical influences in my life. If we had not been invited, I would have bought tickets and flown out. Apart from Metallica playing two of their most important albums, the lineup for the festival is extremely impressive on its own and I love its unpredictable span of genres."
In other RED FANG tour news the band is preparing for their upcoming European headlining run this April with support coming from label mates BLACK TUSK. The tour kicks off April 5th in Segrate, Italy and runs through May 5th in Essen, Germany. Following those dates, RED FANG will head to Russia and Ukraine for three special shows.
