DEMON HUNTER Debut New Track
With six weeks to go until the release of their highly anticipated new album, True Defiance, metal mainstays DEMON HUNTER are giving fans their first taste of the new set with the debut of standout track "Someone To Hate."
A circle pit-inducing rampage with a thrash backbone, the dynamic "Someone To Hate" finds DEMON HUNTER taking their music's most beloved aspects and pushing them to bold and exciting extremes. The track is an apt first impression of what lies in store for fans with the April 10 release of True Defiance, the band's sixth album in 10 years.

"'Someone To Hate' feels like a perfect first-glimpse at the new record," says DEMON HUNTER frontman Ryan Clark. "At one point we were even debating on it being the album opener. It's definitely a thrash song, but with a DEMON HUNTER twist. I think fans will dig it because it has a lot of classic DH elements, but it really pushes each of those elements to the max. It's fast, it's mean, it's unapologetic... but of course, it has moments of melody as well."
The release of the dynamic new track coincides with the availability of pre-order options for True Defiance, including a deluxe edition that includes two bonus tracks ("What Is Left" and "I Am a Stone"), a DVD featuring more than an hour of interviews, in- depth song discussions & acoustic performances, a 5-inch metal True Defiance pendant in a custom holder, a 20-page large format photo booklet, 12 individual lyric cards with illustration in metallic ink, and a two-sided fold-out poster with both regular-edition album covers, all contained in a heavy-duty 7x7-inch box.
