EYEHATEGOD's Mike WIlliams Takes on the Spoken Word In Austin
EYEHATEGOD's own Mike WIlliams will be appearing at WTF Fest in Austin TX on March 14, he will be reading from his book 'Cancer As A Social Activity' and dueling word jazz with 1960s icon and revolutionary John Sinclair. This will ba an amazing event offering a welcome change from the coroprate and commercial offering of SXSW.
WTF is coming to Austin TX to give the people what they really want - Brutally honest words, spoken beautifully and delivered by some of the biggest names in the underground, crossing three generations of infamy and outspokenness.
The main attraction for the evening will be famed 1960's icon and revolutionary John "Ten for Two" Sinclair, he will be appearing with Mike Williams IX, author, musician and front man for New Orleans punk/metal legends EyeHateGod. The two will speak separately and together, and performing with an Austin, Texas supergroup featuring Mike Flannery created just for this event.
Also appearing at WTF will be shock model and artist Ugly Shyla, who will be performing on stage, and showing some of her amazing dark dolls and art. Controversial comic Rick Shapiro will be making a special appearance at the Austin WTF, you won't want to miss his twisted jokes and stories!
This event is organized by none other than Shane Bugbee, underground raconteur, publisher, promoter, and former radio personality. During the last election year Bugbee and his wife Amy traveled the USA for their project called 'A Year At The Wheel', which produced over 150 short videos, and a forthcoming book. The duo will be screening some of their videos and hosting the event.
