Behold The Next Lemmy

People love to boast and bands are no different. Not a day goes by that I am not flooded with requests to "check out my band, we are just like Iron Maiden, Lamb of God, and Pantera." Personally I think one band that encompasses all those sounds has to sound like shit. It is rare that a band tells me that they only sound like themselves. A couple weeks ago, Wampus Creek got my attention solely by tweeting to me that they don't sound like anyone else other than themselves and they were right. Check them out here.
So today I am watching the SOPA debacle and chatting to some people is /r/metal's IRC channel when a member of the Polish band Perun enters boasting he is the next Lemmy. He gives us all a youtube link and informs the channel that if we don't like his music, we must be fags. This proceeded to spiral out of control from there with Perun stating the reason we don't like his music is "because it's not your nigger music."

His bigoted comments aside, why do we need another Lemmy? I am pretty happy with the Lemmy we have and I am sure I am not alone. Some advice to musicians, go out and make music that is your own and when you ask for people to listen, be open to constructive criticism.
