Live Nation Turns To Groupon To Sell Guns N' Roses Tickets

Axl Rose I remember the day when tickets went on sale for Guns N' Roses at the Los Angeles Forum. My friends and I waited outside the record store in the freezing cold before the sun came up with about 300 others. We were all given wristbands, but my number came up first in the lottery so the plan was for me to buy the three tickets for my group. Fifteen minutes into the sale, I was led into the store and purchased my tickets. As I was departing, it was announced the tour of the decade had sold out.

Twenty some years later, Guns N' Roses will be back at the Forum. What is missing will be Slash, Gilby, Matt and Duff...and the fans.

It appears Live Nation is having issues moving the Guns N' Roses tickets for this tour. Two shows have already been canceled due to low ticket sales production concerns. Things are pretty bleak. So bleak that Live Nation has turned to Groupon in order to move excess tickets. Tickets are 50% off the price sold via TicketMaster.com too. This is never a good sign for a tour. Anyways, the clock is ticking so head over to Groupon now.
