Stage Collapses During DARK FUNERAL Set
Swedish black metallers DARK FUNERAL have issued a tour update following their December 1st show in Quito, Ecuador:
"We are sorry that we had to cut the set tonight. Due to the heavy rain the stage started collapsing while we were playing. After the eighth song we were told by the stage-manager, and our own crew, to immediately stop playing and leave the stage due to the increasing risk. Still, we went on for two more songs, but after that we just couldn´t risk your or our own safety any longer. We hope that you understand, that we had no choice, but to cut the set right there before a major disaster may have occurred. Still, we hope that you have enjoyed the show. We actually have.
We wish to thank all of you maniacs who despite the shitty weather and came out to the show to raise hell with us. This must have been one of the most wicked shows we've ever played. Thank you for that!"
