ROCK ON THE RANGE 2012--marking the festival’s sixth year--is set for Friday, May 18, Saturday, May 19, and Sunday, May 20 at Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, OH. The festivities will kick off with the returning ROTR Friday night party, which is absolutely FREE with every ROCK ON THE RANGE weekend ticket purchase.

Pre-sale layaway weekend tickets for America’s premier destination rock festival will go on sale in time for the holidays, available beginning Cyber Monday (November 28) at 10:00 AM (ET) through www.rockontherange.com. Weekend Field GA layaway tickets can be purchased for $134.50 and Stadium GA layaway tickets will be $99.50, plus convenience fees. A four-ticket minimum purchase required. Layaway tickets will be available for purchase through February 29, 2012 and regular tickets will go on sale in early 2012.

ROCK ON THE RANGE is also sponsoring a contest to name the festival’s Friday night party on their Facebook page. The person who suggests the winning name will win a free VIP package for two for ROTR 2012 and will have the opportunity to announce one of the bands on stage Friday night. From Monday, November 14 through November 29, fans can submit their ideas for a name for the Friday night party on the ROTR Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/#!/rockontherange) under the event tab on the left side of the page. The ROTR producers will pick the top five names which will then be posted on the main ROTR Facebook page for “Rangers” to vote for their favorite. If the same name is submitted by multiple people, the first person who posted the name will qualify for entrance in the contest.
