Ozzy Osbourne Confirms Black Sabbath Reunion

Black Sabbath Although in the early stages, Ozzy Osbourne has confirmed that Black Sabbath are working on a reunion tour and possible album.

In an interview with Billboard, Osbourne spoke about the possibility of a Sabbath reunion, stating, "Yes, it's a very, very strong possibility.” Osbourne continued, "It's in the very early stages so we haven't recorded anything yet. If it works out, it'll work out. If it doesn’t, I'll keep doing my thing."

During the August rumors of a Sabbath reunion, Iommi spoke about Ozzy’s loose tongue, “It’s all been very hush-hush,” said Iommi. "Ozzy’s been the worst at trying to hold it back. He’s doing a lot of TV and he’s being asked stuff about a reunion and he’s going ‘well I never say never.’”

Iommi has yet to comment on the validity of Osbourne's latest statements, but after the tragic death of Ronnie James Dio, Black Sabbath (recently known as Heaven and Hell) have a vacancy to fill. If Osbourne does return to create a new album, it will be the first time since 1978′s 'Never Say Die!' that he will step into the studio with the three other original members Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler and drummer Bill Ward. Needless to say, metal fans around the globe will be crossing their fingers.
