A Look Back At The Coal Chamber Style
Following the news today of Coal Chamber reforming, it got me thinking of the band's horrific look in the 90's. Aside from being reminded that there was a song called "Big Truck", Coal Chamber also had a style that was thankfully all their own.
The lollipop, taken from Wizard of Oz's munchkins, is one of the worst hair styles that have ever been sported on stage.
Guys and fishnet shirts don't mix. Girls and fishnet skirts are a fashion win!
I've heard before that duct tape has thousands of uses, guys fashion clearly isn't one of them. Doeswn't the guy on the left look like a skinny version of Kelly Osbourne? And what is with the guy in the belly shirt?
The reason they all went on to wear long sleeved shirts in public. It isn't cool wearing one of your own t-shirts and it isn't cool getting your band name tattooed on your arm either. Dez wasn't the only offender of this, everyone in the band did it.
Tight hair braids are for girls. And what is with the excessive facial piercings?
I'm not going to judge, but yeah, Coal Chamber was.
