GATHERING OF THE BESTIAL LEGION Is Canceled

Fuck! This was one of the most solid band lineups of the year with Autopsy, Archeron, HOD, Crypt Infection and so many other black and death metal bands. But this years Gathering of the Bestial legion has been canceled due to a shooting. If you already had tickets, I'm sure the promoter will take care of shit for you. Just remember, this was out of his control and he's a decent guy. You can read entire statement from the promoter:

"The venue has canceled all events due to a shooting last Saturday night where a person was shot in the stomach.

"We found out about the shooting on Monday. We contacted the venue and were assured the event was still good to go by management. On late Wednesday evening we again touched bases with the venue and they told us that their corporate office had canceled all live events. We do have a contract for the August 27th and they are refusing to honor the contract.

"Unfortunately with only two days notice we can not move the event to an adequate venue.

"We're working on rescheduling with the current line up for October/November 2011.

"Tickets for August 27th show will be honored at the rescheduled show which will be at an established venue so we wont run into this issue ever again.
Refunds will also be available. Please be patient if you request a refund since there's a lot of you out there that bought tickets.

"We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this will cause the bands, the fans, vendors and staff. In 10 years of booking shows in Los Angeles we have never encountered this dilemma, specially for one of our premier events.

"Once again, we apologies and we will keep you all posted with any additional information."
